Introduction to Assistive Technology
Learn the basics of Assistive Technology.
The objective of the Introduction to Assistive Technology course is to support people especially who are in Rwanda to have a clue on Assistive Technology and to be aware of existing and affordable Assistive Technologies (Devices and Apps) that would support visually impaired people, hearing impaired people and those with mental disabilities ( Autism and Down Syndrome) in their studies, daily lives and at the workplace but in a local context. This is in line with the vision of our organization Rwanda Assistive Technology Access (RATA) which is to contribute to a society where persons with disabilities are able to study through the use of Assistive Technology in order to live independently.
At the end of the course, you will be evaluated to get your certificate.
